Fam Trip: Cobble Beach

In October 2025, The Loop visited Cobble Beach, a premier waterfront golf resort community located along the rugged shoreline of Georgian Bay in Ontario. The property is best known for its award-winning 18-hole links-style golf course designed by renowned Canadian architect Doug Carrick. Built to embrace the natural landscape, the course features dramatic elevation changes and sweeping vistas of Georgian Bay, with every hole offering water views. This design philosophy blends traditional links-style strategy with the striking scenery of Ontario’s cottage country, creating a memorable and visually spectacular round of golf.

At the center of the resort is the Nantucket-inspired Cobble Beach Clubhouse, which serves as the social and hospitality hub for guests and members. The clubhouse includes a boutique Inn, a full-service Spa, a well-stocked Pro Shop, and the highly regarded Sweetwater Restaurant & Bar, known for its refined yet relaxed dining experience overlooking the course and bay.

Cobble Beach is designed as a year-round destination that captures the changing beauty of Georgian Bay throughout all four seasons. Beyond golf, the resort offers a variety of amenities and outdoor activities that appeal to visitors seeking both recreation and the tranquillity of cottage country. Located approximately two and a half hours from downtown Toronto, Cobble Beach combines luxury accommodations, natural beauty, and warm hospitality, making it one of Ontario’s most distinctive golf and resort experiences.
