On June 28, we teed off our first regular season round of Golf Canada's National Golf League at Watson's Glen Golf Club in Pickering, the first of three monthly qualifiers on the road to the NGL Provincial Championships.
24 golfers paired up in teams of two for a best-ball Stableford round off the blue tees, all 6,589 yards of it.
Pre-round
Before the first tee, the crew got loose with comped stretch therapy from MVPR Therapy, fuelled up on coffee and matcha from ROOMS at 450 Dufferin, and picked up a custom ballmarker from ON THE MARK Golf.
Results
1st place, 43 pts: Alyshahn Kara-Virani & Jonathan Tomines, who took home custom trophies by Caddi Signature
2nd place, 42 pts: Felix Lam & Phillip Choi, who took home custom alignment sticks by Loft and Grain
3rd place, 41 pts: a four-way tie
Once the cards were signed, everyone made their way to the Loop Lounge for a post-round retail experience from Bentgrass Golf Shop. One round down on the road to the Provincial Championships.
